I received my gift card from a friend. Can I exchange it for cash?
No, you can’t. However, you can use the balance in the card to pay for any purchases at any accepting outlets.
Can I transfer the balance in my gift card to another account?
No, the balance is yours but if you upload your gift card onto the City Rewards app, then you can use the function of sending cash as a gift to any of your friends or family members whose contact numbers are on your phone.

Well done! You can start using your app’s QR Code as the ID to pay for your purchases at the counter and if you register for City Rewards card as well on the app, you can start earning points for your purchases.
I have an existing City Gift Card of a different card design, with some balance, which I received from my friend a while ago. Can I still use it?
Yes, you can still use the existing card until 31 December, 2018, after which we will only accept the newly launched City Gift Cards. Also, please note that the existing cards are not compatible with the City Rewards app. You can only upload the new City Gift Cards onto the app.
